Similar to the "Buzzfeed" blog posts on the Minnesota Women's Consortium blog, here is a little catch up on recent news. I enjoy writing these simply because it is so important to stay informed about what is going on in the world. Although on the surface not all of this news has directly to do with women, I am a firm believer in acquiring a wide variety of knowledge... especially when it comes to topics that are normally dominated by men, such as politics!
